This policy explains how refunds work for services purchased from LAVA IT Consulting LLC. Because we provide professional consulting services rather than physical products, there are no shipping, returns, or exchanges.
Before Work Begins
If you cancel before we have started work on your engagement, you are entitled to a full refund. Email us and we will process it back to your original payment method.
After Work Has Started
If you cancel after work has begun but before delivery, we refund the portion of the engagement that has not yet been performed. We will provide a short summary of the work completed to date along with the refund amount.
After Delivery
Once a deliverable has been handed over — an audit report, an architecture design, a completed migration, or a consulting session that has taken place — the engagement is considered fulfilled and is generally non-refundable.
That said, if the delivered work does not match what was agreed, tell us. We will first work with you to correct it at no additional cost. If we cannot bring the work to the agreed standard, we will refund it.
Ongoing and Retainer Services
Monthly retainers and managed service plans can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and the unused portion of that period is not refunded. You will not be billed for any period after cancellation.
How to Request a Refund
Email [email protected] with your order number and a brief description of the issue. We respond to every refund request within two business days.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it can take 5–10 business days for the credit to appear on your statement.
Disputes
If you are unhappy with an engagement for any reason, please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Nearly every issue can be resolved faster and more fully by talking to us directly.
